Joan Holloway style....

My favorite dress Joan wore.

A complete Joan outfit.

Note the always tight bust line, pointy bra, and fitted close skirt/waist line.

Another complete Joan outfit.

A pretty fitted pink wiggle dress.

Today's Betty finds...

This is a filmy, gauzy little number. Perhaps for a picnic? Very sheer, and definatly says summer!

A very Jackie-O type bubble gum pink suit dress. Reminds me of the one she brought Gene home in, in season 3.

I just really like the colors of the cream and baby blue here. A nice house dress. And longer sleeve for maybe the fall.

This is very 60's looking, and in pretty Betty pastel colors. A lunch date or party at someone's house would be fitting in this fine dress.

Today's clothes finds....

Love the bow accents on bottom, and pretty pastels in this dress. A classic shift dress, but dressed up with the bows.

Pretty house type dress. Floral with shades of pink.

Gorgeous pink toile look dress. A baby shower maybe? With pearls of course! LOVE the cutaway shoulders!

Beautiful and full skirted, with green tones. Lovely for a garden party.

Today's finds for Betty!

A different collar version of the classic shirtdress.

Low neckline version of shirtdress. Note skinny belt, classic for this timeperiod.

These colors were very popular for the early 1960's. This is a shift dress.

Also a shift dress. Popular for around the house or errands. Can be dressed up for a lunch date with a handbag and necklace and matching earrings.

This one is my favorite of the day. But, as with many dresses I've found, they are ALL S-M size.

I must have really been in the mood for greens and blues! Any of these could be dressed up with your classic pearl choker and stud earrings.
